Computer vision is software that reads a picture the way a person would: what is in the frame, whether it looks right, and whether anything changed since the last look. We wire that up for one job first - a count, a check, a flag - so the camera earns its keep before you add more.
What this is for
A person can watch a monitor. They should not have to. Typical first jobs: counting items on a line, spotting a missing label, reading a code, or noticing when a bay is empty. The output is a number, a yes/no, or an alert your team already knows how to handle.
